The Kee to Bala
A Summer Concert Tradition Since 1942
The Kee to Bala is one of the truly iconic concert venues, not only in Ontario, but the world. It's rich history and heritage have made it a destination in Muskoka, and a tradition among locals and visitors for the last 75 years.
Expanding over the water onto Bala Bay, this wooden structure has had hundreds of thousands of excited music lovers pass through its doors over the last eight decades.
The Kee has played host to some amazing talent over the years, including stars like Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington in the 40's, to Blue Rodeo and Rush in recent years. Many things have changed in Muskoka since the 1940's but one of the the few things that has remained constant is The Kee to Bala bringing people together on the shores of Lake Muskoka to catch some great music, in one of the best concert venues in the province!
Another Muskoka Tradition at the Kee, is Resort Night, a DJ dance party at this historic venue. Buses from across Muskoka bring excited patrons to The Kee to dance the night away! Check out their website for more information.
More recently, The Kee to Bala has become a popular wedding venue. The rustic chic vibe that this charming building radiates has proven incredibly popular among brides, leaving their guests in awe. Everything you need for your perfect wedding is at one convenient location, in the beautiful town of Bala. Accommodations right across the street, a wedding ceremony site directly overlooking Bala Bay on a natural wood deck, and a memorable venue for dinner and dancing.
