Cranberry Harvest
Muskoka Lakes Farm & Winery | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Daily
The Cranberry Harvest has started and there are many events daily to make the most of it. Muskoka Lakes Farm and Winery is open daily 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Wade in a sea of floating cranberries in the famous cranberry plunge, sip on wine ranging from dry to dessert made with the best of Muskoka’s native fruits during the wine tasting or saddle up for the wagon tours. There are a wide range of scheduled activities.
During the harvest, the beloved Bala Cranberry Festival takes place October 18 – 20. View the harvest, shop at the farmers’ market, or sip on a delicious cranberry bevvy while enjoying candied cranberries and other goodies.
While you’re in the cranberry spirit, tour around Muskoka for the 2nd annual Cranberry Route – a fun-filled (and delicious) culinary trail inspired by the cranberry! Businesses across Muskoka have worked hard to create delicious cranberry products to celebrate the harvest, whether it be a baked goodie or treat, craft brew, dining and culinary meal, spa treatment, cranberry good or a cranberry attraction. Click here for the list of participating businesses and a sneak peek into their creations!
