The 2019 Dockside Festival of the Arts

One of Muskoka’s most crafty and creative art shows!

With more than 100 artisans, gourmet food, family fun, and way more, it’s not hard to see why the Dockside Festival of the Arts has become one of the most anticipated arts and crafts shows in the region.

2019 marks the 28th anniversary of this fantastic festival, which will be held this year at the Muskoka Wharf Special Event Park from Friday, August 16, to Sunday, August 18, with the proud support of Elexicon.

Hours – Friday: 10am to 6pm | Saturday: 10am to 6pm | Sunday: 10am to 4pm

Arts and culture, family-fun activities, live music, and more – yours for a donation at the door. And, thanks to your support, the Festival is able to offer a bursary for graduating arts students from Gravenhurst High School.

Over 100 Artisans

With over a hundred artisans and craftspeople present, visitors are treated to a cross-section of the arts that highlights the creative communities of Muskoka and Ontario.

Vendors featured at the festival go through a jury process beforehand, vetting hundreds of applicants so they only feature the best of the best – and this year promises the same high-caliber offerings. Guests will get to see the colourful, highly textured works of Art by Prokofiev, and delicious displays like Attilio’s Fine Food, whose gourmet offerings will astound your tastebuds.

You can find something to suit every taste at the Dockside Festival – check out their website for more information about their vendors!

Live Music

The Dockside Festival always lines up some amazing musical talent for you to enjoy throughout the weekend.

Pull up a seat and watch performances by James Gray, Sean Cotton, Papa John Witterick, and more, or groove with the tunes as you take a gander at the vendors.
