Huckleberry Rock at sunset is a must! One of the most scenic lookouts in all of Muskoka, Huckleberry Rock is well worth the hike to capture this view! The rock here also has some historical significance, as it is some of the oldest in the world, over a billion years old!

R.M.S Segwun

Muskoka’s steamship heritage is older than Canada. The first ship steamed Lake Muskoka in 1866. In 2017, we marked the amazing RMS Segwun’s 130 year history. She is North America’s oldest operating mail steamship. Wenonah II, a modern interpretation of a traditional steamship, is named in honour of Wenonah, the first steamship to sail Lake Muskoka. The Port Carling Wall

The 111-by-45-foot photo mosaic, affectionately called The Wall, provides a breathtaking welcome to Port Carling. It comprises 9,028 pictures that together create the image of the RMS Sagamo passing through the Port Carling locks circa 1922. Viewed up close, however, each individual photo captures a moment of time in the lives of residents of Port Carling during the village’s first century (1860-1960).
