Maestro Kerry Stratton is getting the band back together again! Kerry returns to Huntsville, baton in hand, to resurrect the Huntsville Festival Orchestra. The Huntsville Festival Orchestra was a mainstay in the early years of the Huntsville Festival of the Arts, which is celebrating its Silver 25th Anniversary in 2017.
The reunion will give centre stage to Piaf Encore, a tribute to the music of Edith Piaf, France’s national chanteuse. Pandora Topp is Piaf and will perform many of the numbers that propelled this French cabaret singer to become one of France’s greatest international stars and a national treasure to this day.

Edith Piaf’s repertoire was only charted for performance by a symphony orchestra in 2013 and the results have been enchanting. With the skillful lead of festival favourite Kerry Stratton, the reunion of the Huntsville Festival Orchestra, and the elegant musical stylings of the iconic Edith Piaf set to a symphony orchestra, this concert will excite and delight!
