A great combo: fall’s Golden Encore, sunshine and expected temperatures of 20°C
OCTOBER 17, 2017 – MUSKOKA, ON
The Golden Encore is fall’s last hoorah, as poplar and birch leaves (the last to turn colour), go up in colourful blaze of golden yellow. Like all encores, this is arguably the best part of the show.
October 18 – 23 will likely be the best days to take in the Golden Encore, as a near perfect weather forecast will be paired with this brilliant fall colour display. If you really wanted to experience fall colours this year but haven’t yet been able to, this will be one of your last great opportunities. Make plans and take advantage of the excellent leaf peeping conditions.
Fall drives are still colourful, but the best way to experience the Golden Encore is on one of the area’s many hiking trails. Some of the top hiking trails include: Tree Museum, Hardy Lake Provincial Park, Bracebridge Resource Management Centre, Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve, and Muskoka Lakes Farm & Winery.
Fun for week of October 18 – 23, 2017
