Buzz on over to the all new Township of Georgian Bay Honey Bee Festival
The first annual Honey Bee Festival is on October 5th, 2019 and there’s loads of sweet excitement in store for you!
All donations and proceeds will be going to the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve, so not only will you be going for a deliciously good time, but you’ll also be giving back to help the local honeybees and various pollinators in the area.

Honey Bee 5 KM Fun Run / Walk
- School House Trail (Violet Drive, Port Severn)
- 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Individual, Family, Group Best Costumes
- Single Participant $10; Family $25; Group $50
Honey Bee Marketplace
- Honey Harbour Park Landing
- 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Marketplace for honey related products
- Free Admission
Honey Bee Art Show
- Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church Basement
- 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Art that showcases the Honey Bee & landscapes of Georgian Bay
- Free Admission
Honey Bee 9 Hole Golf Tournament
- Oak Bay Golf Course
- Shotgun start @ 11:00 AM
- Costumes welcome
- $25 + HST (includes a cart)
Mayor’s Honey Bee Gala
- Oak Bay Club House
- 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Honey infused dinner, desserts, and beer
- Entertainment, keynote speaker, silent, and live auction
- $100 + HST
