- November 8 – December 8: Join Muskoka Arts & Crafts at MAC ON MAIN, 63 Manitoba Street. MAC ON MAIN will be open regular hours with a special evening shopping event during the Festival of Lights Friday November 22 from 5 – 9 PM. The best gifts are handmade. Learn more
- Nov 16: Christmas Market at Lake of Bays Garden Centre. The greenhouses will be bustling with vendors, as well as a large group of vendors braving whatever weather comes our way in our outdoor vendor space. Learn more
- November 16: Ho! Ho! Ho! Bala Santa Claus Parade will be here starting at 1pm in front of The Kee to Bala. Free ice skating follows at the Bala Arena & crafts and hotdogs at the Community Centre. Learn more
- November 16: Pratt’s Christmas Market has even more vendors then last year’s event. This is the perfect chance to get a head start on your Christmas shopping. Learn more
- November 22: Bracebridge Festival of Lights: – Kick off the holiday season in Downtown Bracebridge from 6pm – 9pm Enjoy some great shopping, sing along to Christmas carols , visit with Santa and check out the trackless train for the kids Learn more
- November 22 – December 6: Self-Guided Festivities All Day in Bracebridge. Enjoy the Hot Cocoa Trail, have fun playing Elf on the Shelf Hide & Seek, Tons of Holiday Spirit colouring contest, holiday lights and much more and Let it Glow holiday windo display contest. Learn more
- November 22: Gateway to the Holidays Kick-off Event: Come to the Muskoka Wharf for the official tree lighting, holiday shopping, pet fashion show, and more. Add your home or business to the popular Holiday Lights Road Map (with prizes!), and shop ‘til you drop at the fantastic holiday markets throughout Gravenhurst. Learn more
- November 22: The Shipyards Muskoka Marketplace Their doors reopen by 6pm to start their Annual Ladies Night and the Shipyards will be decorated for the holidays.

- November 23: Algonquin Theatre presents Nutcracker: a Canadianan Tradition. Holiday magic is made year after year by Ballet Jörgen’s traditional treasure The Nutcracker: a Canadian Tradition. Created by acclaimed choreographer and Artistic Director Bengt Jörgen to Tchaikovsky’s well-loved score, this delightful classic is a favourite that brings magic to the holidays. 2 shows 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM. - November 24: Making Spirits Bright ~ A Community Tree Lighting: Join in the fun 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Port Sydney Community Hall. There will be games, crafts, soup + Sammie buffet and silent auction.

- December 6: Visit the Lighting of the Bressette Homestead Heritage Park in Port Severn on from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Admission is FREE. Learn more
- December 7: Bala’s Trek to Bethlehem: Follow the journey of Joseph and Mary on their first Christmas. A family event with refreshments at the end of the walk. Learn more
- December 7: Port Severn, Honey Harbour, Severn Township Santa Claus Parade will be held in Honey Harbour. The Route: Honey Harbour Road, Muskoka #5 starting at Violet Drive and ending at Community Centre Drive starting at 1pm.

- December 12: The Barra MacNeils – An East Coast Christmas , is a musical potpourri of traditional MacNeil family favourites gleaned from Christmas ceilidhs, midnight masses and the general festive frolic that accompanies each holiday season. - December 13: Good Lovelies’ annual Christmas tour comes to Huntsville, bringing classic holiday songs, timeless winter selections and original Good Lovelies material to the Algonquin Theatre stage. Learn more

- December 18: Abba Revisited Christmas Show will be at the Gravenhurst Opera House . They will include many holiday songs you have come to know and love. Learn more
- December 21: Train to Santa: The Portage Flyer locomotive and authentic coaches have a thousand lights. Enjoy a cup of free hot chocolate and cookies (while supplies last) and sing along to the carols while you wait to board the train. Once on board, you will gently ride alongside the Muskoka River to The Purser’s Cabin. Santa is waiting to hear “your side of the story”. - December 24: Torchlight Parade at Hidden Valley Ski Area: An annual family-friendly favourite, the Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade can be viewed from the Chalet or the base of the Flying Dutchman. Watch our Snow School instructors and Ski Patrollers descend the Flying Dutchman carrying brightly lit torches in a beautiful procession of lights. Santa even joins in the Parade (you didn’t know he could ski, did you?). There will be children’s activities and live entertainment. Learn more
