Skate the Famous Cranberry Ice Trail

Experience a one-of-a-kind skating adventure at the cranberry bog in Ontario! Skate a 1.2 km loop around 12 acres of stunning cranberries, with a forest on one side and cranberry beds on the other. Warm up with hot mulled wine or hot cran-apple cider at the winery after your skate. Every Saturday night, weather permitting, the trail is lit with 400 tiki torches for a magical Light the Night night skating experience. The Bog Hockey Acre offers an acre of skating on frozen cranberries, perfect for pond hockey.

Trail hours are daily from 11 am to 4:00 pm, open 7 days a week, weather permitting, with torchlight skating on Saturdays from 6 pm to 9 pm. While you’re here, enjoy guided farm tours, tutored wine tastings, wine and cheese by the fireside patio, shopping at the locally inspired Wine and Cuisine store, and snowshoe trails. Please note that the trail is unsupervised and use is at your own risk. Ice surface conditions may vary, so skate cautiously and wear a helmet. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and walking, snowshoes, toboggans, strollers, pets, and hockey are not allowed on the trail.
