One of Muskoka’s Most Anticipated Summertime Festivals
Just under 3-hours from the GTA, Baysville, Ontario is a picturesque community with roots as old as Canada. That’s right – around 1870 a cocktail of good conditions allowed this pocket of perfection to blossom into a popular spot for vacationers from near and far.
Today, the charming community is still a popular destination for vacationers, and home to many of Muskoka’s most beloved attractions, including Yummies in a Jar, Humble Pie Butter Tart Factory & Pizzeria, Lake of Bays Brewing Company, the Cast Iron Restaurant and more.
However, they may be best known today for hosting one of Muskoka’s favourite summertime festivals – Baysville’s Annual Walkabout!
2019 Baysville Walkabout
Saturday, July 27, 2019
9am – 4pm
First begun in 1988 as the “July Sidewalk Sale,” the first Walkabout had about 12 vendors. In 2019, the 31st year of the festival, there will be roughly 120 vendors lining their streets!
And, this impressive array of vendors will have all kinds of art, crafts, antiques, baking, and much, much more up for grabs. You will definately find that piece of decor or perfect present you’ve been looking for, while also taking in live music and tons of family-fun activities.
Admission to the festival is by donation, so grab your walking shoes and nab some guilt-free finds at one of Muskoka’s most popular summer events.
